RACP SPDP Workshop (SPDP1) - for Supervisors

This workshop incorporates the overarching themes of developing trainee expertise and using coaching techniques to improve feedback practice. It focuses on delivering feedback using 2 frameworks: the GROW model and the 4 areas of feedback. By applying these models, supervisors can help trainees progress toward expert performance. Objectives
  • Develop strategies for creating an effective learning culture
  • Describe the impact of feedback on trainee behaviour and performance
  • Increase confidence in providing effective feedback to trainees
  • Increase confidence in supporting trainees who are not at the expected standard
